Don’t have Stata installed on your laptop?  In this workshop, you will learn to run Stata remotely on the Farmshare servers using X-windows, as well as get a basic introduction to using Stata.  X-windows provides the Stata point and click interface (GUI) available on a Windows, Mac, or Linux installed version.  You will also learn to navigate the remote server and securely transfer your data, 'do', and other Stata files between Farmshare and your local computer.

This workshop is intended for those using Stata in the Humanities and Social Sciences.
