Most people have learned to use text searching to answer questions generating hundreds of answers where only a few are relevant. Reaxys has a much more powerful tool to conduct comprehensive but focused complicated searches with a simple graphical interface.  We will look at developing inorganic/organometallic structure searches. We will use the tool to find properties of compounds and reactions of structures.  We will use this tool to help identify unknowns by properties.  We will also look at the retrosynthetic tool.
We will cover:

  • Basic Interface Orientation
  • Query Builder
  • Structure Searching for Inorganic Compounds
  • Inorganic Properties
  • Retrosynthesis Tool
