Most people have learned to use text searching to answer questions generating hundreds of answers where only a few are relevant. Reaxys has a much more powerful tool to conduct comprehensive but focused complicated searches with a simple graphical interface.  We will look at using this interface to search for organic structures, reactions and properties.  We will use this tool to help identify unknowns by properties.  We will also look at the retrosynthetic tool.
We will cover:

  • Basic interface orientation
  • Query builder
  • Organic Compound Structure Searching
  • Organic Properties
  • Retrosynthesis
