Library & circulation

Books, monograph series volumes, maps, theses and technical reports circulate by the quarter to Stanford faculty and graduate students and four weeks to most other eligible borrowers. The above items are subject to recall after seven days if requested by another Stanford patron. If not needed by another user, these materials may be renewed via your library account (SUNet ID required), by emailing Branner Library, or in person.

Most reserve materials circulate for two hours. When checking out a reserve item, note the hour and day item is due. Overdue reserve items are fined by the minute overdue.

Unbound journals circulate for three days and can't be renewed. Bound journals circulate for four days and may be renewed once.
