John Casper Branner

SUL's Branner Earth Sciences Library was featured in the August 11th edition of the Stanford Report.

The article highlights Branner Library's early begnnings, how the library "remains a vital and vibrant part of what is now the School of Earth, Energy & Environmental Sciences," and the importance of the library's team of expert staff members who support its many endeavors.

Wet book salvage training.

At the beginning of July, Preservation Department staff held a wet book salvage workshop at Stanford Auxiliary Library 3. We identified SAL3 as a priority training site due to their distance from immediate preservation support in the event of a flood or leak. So, we packed up some extra supplies and took our salvage show on the road!

Training/Demo Sessions
On Wednesday, July 29th, University IT will be holding two training/demo sessions in Green Library in preparation for the Office 365 migration. Training/demo sessions will take place in the IC classroom during the following times: 10:00am-11:30am and 1:30pm-3:00pm.
