Welcome, Ruth Laraway

We are excited to welcome Ruth Laraway as the SAL2 Project Librarian for University Archives Publications. She will be undertaking archival work and cataloging on the backlog of publications temporarily stored at the Stanford Auxiliary Libraries 1-2 (SAL 1-2). 

Ruth recently graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a Masters of Library and Information Science. During her time at UCLA, Ruth focused on special collections and rare book cataloging. She previously worked at Loyola Marymount University as a Rare Book Cataloger, where she enjoyed cataloging books from the 15th to 20th century. She is excited to begin working at Stanford and in her free time enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her cat, Otis.
