I coordinate descriptive metadata creation and maintenance for the Stanford Digital Repository. Working with content owners and other digital collections stakeholders to ensure that their data complies with appropriate standards, I help to ensure that their materials are discoverable and accessible via library platforms such as SearchWorks and Spotlight. I also create documentation and tools to facilitate the efficient creation of quality metadata, and work with Digital Library Systems and Services on improving metadata functionality for users.
