I am responsible for coordinating the work of the Metadata Development Unit (MDU) that specializes in creation, organization, and maintenance of metadata to facilitate discovery and access to library information resources in a variety of formats and languages using traditional cataloging standards as well as emerging metadata schemas and techniques. I also serve as the Stanford University Libraries liaison with the Program for Cooperative Cataloging (PCC).
