My Name is Wayne Vanderkuil. I am the lead photographer for the Digital Production Group at Stanford Unviersity Libraries.  I’m responsible for the higher-end imaging of oversized content that comes through our labs.  I also provide quality assurance and imaging support across our labs.


My primarily focus is in the digitization of large format materials including Stanford’s rare map collections in an efficient and qualitative manner.  This may include improvising and implementing the best device to accomplish this task. We’ve also come a long way from our beginnings in  image stitching and are always looking for new ways to improve upon this.
