Financial support

The Player Piano Project is an ambitious undertaking made possible through generous donations. Additional funding will make it possible to further expand and enhance the collections; fully catalog, digitize, and archive the rolls; and to collaborate with leading scholars, musicians, technicians, scientists, and information technology experts. Those interested in contributing to the Player Piano Project or in helping to enhance its collections and programs through donations or a bequest are invited to contact the Project’s staff.

Donations of rolls

If you have a collection of piano rolls and would like to see them preserved and made available, you may donate them as a gift or bequest. Rolls that enhance the Project’s collections and further the goals of its research programs are gratefully accepted and may be eligible for a charitable tax deduction in the United States.
