The Center provides a unique research, teaching and learning environment where the antiquarian and modern converge.

In addition to housing a large collection of cartographic primary sources, it is furnished with high-resolution screens equipped with interactive tools for engaging with Stanford's rich digital cartographic resources. The Center is supported by knowledgeable staff and is a flexible and rich environment for research and teaching.
