Given the proliferation of individuals and groups using Facebook for communications, outreach and social networking the Archives has drafted the following instructions for archiving Facebook pages in the Stanford University Archives.

1. Log in to Facebook
   
   
2. Click on Settings in the menu bar
   
    
   
   
3. Click on Settings
   
    
4. Under Account Settings click on Download a copy
    
5. Click on Start My Archive
    
6. Click Start My Archive
   
    
   
   
7. Click Okay
   
    
   
   
8. Click on link in email
   
   
9. Click on Download Archive
    
10. Enter your Facebook password.
    
    
11. Share the .zip file with us (universityarchives@stanford.edu) via Box or Drive.
