Stanford users now have access to a new database, on a year-long trial basis: the Yale University Press Art & Architecture E-Portal.
Discover this collection of art and architecture books in full text format, some out-of-print, published by distinguised presses such as MIT, Yale University, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Harvard University Museums, and more. The eBooks are readable on any device, and you can easily cite them, add annotations, and more.
The Department of Art & Art History, Stanford Libraries, and the Cantor Arts Center present “Camp Creatures,” a lecture by Lucy Mulroney, author of Andy Warhol, Publisher, and Associate Director of the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library at Yale University, on Thursday, October 18, at 5pm in Oshman Hall, McMurtry Building.
The Stanford Libraries have recently acquired a copy of Thomas Laird's Murals of Tibet, published by TASCHEN Books. This rare 498- paged item, measuring 19.7 x 27.6 inches and featuring a number of life-size reproductions of Tibetan Buddhist murals, is one of only a thousand copies produced.
