Stop by the Media Center in Green Library to view the new rotating film and game exhibit. The collection is curated by Green Library specialist staff, Jennifer Navarrette and Ronald Serrudo Duran.

The exhibit is an artistic homage to the community browsing experience that was once a staple for users at video rental stores during the Blockbuster days. It includes a sample of popular movies and videogames we have available for checkout. We have a wide variety of categories on display. The games on display include a collection of gaming consoles from the early 2000s such as the Nintendo Gamecube to the modern day console, PlayStation 5.

If you don't have access to gaming consoles at home, don’t worry! The Media Center is equipped with all the gaming consoles to play (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Gamecube, Playstation 1-4), even vintage games, including the PlayStation 5. The original Atari console is also available to play for anyone’s entertainment.

We also have portable Blu-ray players available for checkout so you can watch them at home or in your dorm.

Games and films typically have a 7-day borrowing period with a one-time renewal through My Account but expect a longer loan period over Winter Closure.

If you have never visited the Media & Microtext Center, it is nested in the lower level of Green Library’s East Wing. See the Media Center’s hours before you visit.

Library staff will rotate materials regularly; so stop by and check out what is new at the Media Center!
