The Archive of Recorded Sound has recently finished processing the William C. Lynch Dennis Brain Collection. This collection is believed to be the largest of its kind in North America, if not the most comprehensive and organized collection of recorded music relating to the British horn player Dennis Brain (1921-1957), anywhere in the world. A full itemized finding aid for the collection is now available online.

In your non-work time, do you photograph, draw, paint, print, throw pots, weave baskets, write creatively, work with textiles, wood, or metal, make jewelry, design artist’s books, practice calligraphy, or engage in other creative activities or skilled crafts? You’re invited to submit work for a curated exhibit in Green Library’s 2nd floor galleries this summer.
Chair Massages! Dog Petting! Yoga and more!
Come to Green Library to reduce stress during finals on December 11th between 3:30 - 7:30 pm. The De-Stress Fest will kick off with dog petting outside of Green Library, near the red fountain. Next, take a stroll inside the library for a variety of stress-relieving activities -- but before you do, sign-up for a relaxing chair massage outside near the dog petting; sign-ups start at 3:30.
