About the Urban Studies collection

This is the subject page for library resources related to urban studies. Please see the Anthropology and Archaeology page as well for resources related to the built environment. Urban studies examines the social, economic, sociohistorical, and spatial aspects of cities and urban environments. It is interdisciplinary research that delves into urban planning and urban development with the aim of firstly understanding the complex dynamics of cities and secondly of proposing sustainable solutions for urban growth and development.
