The Social Science Resources Group in Green Library is pleased to announce that Danielle Gensch will be joining Stanford Libraries as our new librarian for local, state, and international government information.
Danielle joins Stanford Libraries on July 8th, 2024, a recent MLIS graduate of San Jose State. Prior to that, she practiced law for 23 years, representing government agencies, institutional investors, and non-profits in real estate and infrastructure transactions. Her clients included California pension funds, transportation agencies, and special districts, as well as affordable housing builders and tax credit purchasers. Before law school, she worked as a transportation planner in the Washington, D.C. metro area. Her J.D. is from the University of Michigan Law School, and she holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from Cornell University. She lives with her family in the West Portal area of San Francisco.
Danielle Gensch brings a wealth of knowledge about state and local government agencies combined with a focus on government information librarianship. Please join us in welcoming Danielle to Stanford University Libraries.
