Green East After Hours study area
Need a place to study at night?
The Green East After Hours study area is in Hohbach Hall on the first floor of Green Library, and is accessible via the east entrance (close to Coupa Café). It is open midnight to 8am, Sunday through Thursday, when classes are in session. Additional hours will be provided for the Friday and Saturday between End Quarter and Exam weeks. We also have occasional holiday closures. Please always check the library hours before visiting.

Eligible users
Only Stanford ID holders will be permitted. Visitors and users with a purchased library card will not be permitted entry.
What to expect
- All library users will need to exit Green Library by midnight prior to the opening of Green East After Hours study area. After everyone has been cleared, library staff will allow Stanford ID holders back inside.
- Patrons may enter/re-enter through the east entrance facing Coupa Café only. Please note that only the first floor on the east side of the building will be open for the after-hours study schedule. The Bing Wing entrance (facing the Quad) will be closed.
- Water in sealable containers may be brought inside Green Library, but food is not permitted inside the building.
Available services
- Library and security staff will be on-site and can assist users who need to pick up available requests or course reserves, and they can help with questions about library accounts or with issues accessing online library resources.
- Reservable group study rooms and Cardinal Print devices will be available.
