About the Latin American Studies collection

The dynamic Latin American studies holdings at Stanford Libraries support teaching and research for over fifty scholars in various humanities and social sciences areas. With over four hundred thousand volumes, it is one of the largest collections in North America, with historical strengths on Brazil, Mexico and US-Mexico border issues.

The cognizant curator provides individualized instruction and consultation to both Stanford scholars and external users.
